Most orders received Monday - Friday are shipped within one business day. This does not include custom imprinted/personalized items and out of stock items. Orders are not shipped on Saturday or Sunday. Occasionally order processing may take up to five business days. Please allow additional time for delivery.   • Round Pencils (5 gross or less):
    • For round pencil orders of 5 gross (720 pencils) or less, please allow 10 business days for your order to be produced before it is shipped.
  • Pens and Round Pencils (6 gross or more):
    • For pen orders and round pencil orders of 6 gross (864 pencils) or more, please allow 10 business days after artwork approval for your order to be produced before it is shipped. Your order will not go to production without your artwork approval.
  • Hexagon Pencils:
    • For hexagon pencil orders, please allow up to 15 business days after artwork approval for your order to be produced before it is shipped. Your order will not go to production without your artwork approval.

*During our peak season, personalized orders may take longer to produce. If so, you will be contacted by a Custom Imprint Specialist.

  • Rush Orders:
    • For an additional 5¢ per piece, move your order towards the top of the production queue. Please note orders with the rush option will still be shipped ground unless otherwise indicated. Expedited shipping is available during the checkout process.
  • Pencil Packaging:
    • Pencils are packaged in bulk (all pencils in one box). For an additional $2.16 per gross (1.5¢ per pencil), your order will be packaged 1 gross (144 pencils) per white box.
  • Pencil Sharpening:
    • For sharpening orders 9 gross (1296 pencils) or less, an additional $2.88 per gross (2¢ per pencil) will apply.
    • For sharpening orders 10 gross (1440 pencils) or more, an additional $2.16 per gross (1.5¢ per pencil) will apply.
    • Please note: Graphite dust may get on lighter colored pencils during shipping.
  • For sharpening orders of 9 gross (1296 pencils) or less, an additional $2.88 per gross (2¢ per pencil) will apply.

We reserve the right to refuse to print any order that contains profanity, hateful speech, or is otherwise deemed objectionable.

No. However, we can have them made for you at our factory in China. The minimum order is 50,000 pieces. Please allow 90 days for production and delivery.

  • For non-personalized items (More than one week out):
    • View Estimated UPS Ground Transit Times to see if ground shipping works for your time table. Please allow 1-2 business days for order processing.

  • For personalized items:
    • For rush orders, please call a Custom Specialist at 1-800-873-1782 or email custom to verify your requested delivery date can be met. Please have your order number available if your order has been submitted online. An expedited shipping method and/or rush fee may be necessary. Additional charges will apply.
    • For future orders, please call a Custom Specialist at 1-800-873-1782 or email custom to establish a future ship date.

Due to the nature of non-lacquered wood, screen-printed ink may fade into the wood and disappear in areas of the imprint. This is not considered a flaw or mistake. It is an unavoidable side effect caused by the nature of the wood product, and it is part of the rustic look of the non-lacquered pencil. Please keep this in mind if you choose this pencil color option as the faded imprint is not grounds for return of the product.

Yes, we offer UPS 3 Day Select, 2nd Day Air and Next Day Air. Orders with expedited shipping chosen as the shipping method must be placed and received by 12PM Pacific Time, Monday - Friday (Excluding Holidays), to be shipped the same day. Taxing remote sales has changed! On June 21, 2018, the Supreme Court of the United States ruled in favor of the state in South Dakota v. Wayfair, Inc. The decision overruled a longstanding physical presence rule, allowing states to require remote sellers to collect and remit sales tax. In the time since the Supreme Court Decision, most (but not all) states have adopted new rules defining what establishes a sales and use tax obligation, known as nexus.

Unfortunately for businesses, no two state sales tax nexus laws are alike. To further complicate things, taxes can also be collected at the county and local government levels, so the customer’s billing address at the time of order submission will ultimately determine how much (if any) taxes will be applied to the order.

Due to this change (and resulting software limitations associated with our website), sales tax may not be calculated correctly during checkout. Our Customer Service Representatives will review your order after it has been submitted to ensure accuracy.   • To reorder non-personalized items online follow these easy steps:
    1. Select the "Order History" link from the customer service menu.
    2. If you're not already logged in, enter your login information. Or if it is unavailable, enter your email address and zip code.
    3. Once in the order history screen, you will see your previous orders listed. You can locate a previous order by order (invoice) number, order date, number of products purchased, number of quantities purchased, or order total.
    4. When you have determined which order you would like to repeat, click on the corresponding blue "View" button to open the order.
    5. On the left side of each item is a red "BUY MORE" button. Click this button to add one unit of the corresponding item to your basket. Quantities may be adjusted during checkout. Note: This will open a new window. If you are not finished adding items, you may just exit this window. Items will remain in your basket.

Returns are rare at Graphite Pen & Pencil Co., but if you are not satisfied, contact us within 30 days of your purchase. We will process the return of stock items by sending a replacement product or issuing a refund. Custom imprinted items result in a product that is not resalable and therefore we cannot accept returns on these types of items. Returns of $200.00 or more are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Damaged shipments must be noted to freight carrier and Graphite Pen & Pencil Co. at the time of delivery. Damaged shipment claims older than 14 days will not be accepted. Returns cannot be accepted for items that have been used or items with altered packaging. Federal regulation requires special labeling unique to each batch of product we purchase, altered packaging results in a product that is not usable. Returns for damaged or defective items older than 60 days will not be accepted. Customers will be responsible for both inbound and outbound freight cost on any refused shipment.   • Custom imprinted items result in a product that is not resalable and therefore we cannot accept returns on these types of items.
  • Our pencils are available in a wide range of colors, but not every shade. We guarantee pencils will be the color you ordered; black, yellow, orange, etcetera. The colors displayed on your monitor are for your reference only. Pantone® colors vary greatly from monitor to monitor and it is impossible to display a true color match. For this reason we cannot offer refunds for color variance. If pencil colors are critical, Pantone® color matching is available for an extra fee. For accurate Pantone® Color Standards, please refer to the current edition of the Pantone® Color Formula Guide.
  • Pantone® is a registered trademark of Pantone® Inc.
  • Please note that ferrule and eraser color combinations may vary from those pictured. We are unable to process refunds because ferrule and eraser combinations varied from the picture. If you require a particular stick, ferrule, eraser combination please order from our Design Your Own Pencil section to guarantee you get the combination you need.

Yes, we do accept international orders. Actual freight charges apply and depend on the carrier/service selected along with the distance, weight and dimensions of your package. All customs and duty fees are the responsibility of the customer. Orders that need to be tracked should be sent via USPS Express Mail International or UPS as standard USPS shipping does not allow for order tracking. All sales are in U.S. dollars. Credit card payments are accepted for international orders under $500 (Excluding orders shipping to Africa). Orders must be prepaid via wire transfer if totaling over $500. A wire transfer fee of $20 will be applied. You will be contacted by a customer service representative regarding the wire transfer via email.

Special pricing is available to those who qualify. A Resale Tax ID number is required and the minimum order level is $100 per order. All orders are shipped via UPS and actual freight charges do apply.

Unfortuantely, no. Due to the limitations of our digital printers and silkscreen process, there is no guarantee regarding proper scannability of QR Codes or Barcodes after production is finalized. That is not to say the quality of the print won't be held to the same high standard all other custom prints are required to meet, but we cannot offer any guarantees that QR Codes or Barcodes will be able to be scanned by any digital devices capable of doing so. Please keep this in mind prior to placing any personalized orders involving QR Codes or Barcodes. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes.
